This is truly the best animal hospital I’ve ever brought my pets to. Every doctor, technician, assistant, and receptionist shows genuine compassion, patience, and a real commitment to providing exceptional care. If you’re searching for a new veterinary hospital, I couldn’t recommend them more. Their urgent care hours have also been a lifesaver and a money saver- especially compared to the high costs of emergency hospitals.

When our older dog was diagnosed with cancer, this hospital showed us a level of empathy and care that meant everything. They explained treatment options clearly but also respected our decision not to put him through more pain. In those final moments, they supported us with so much compassion that it felt like they were grieving alongside us. Dr. Perez has also been an incredible source of comfort and trust for our family. She has cared for both our cat and our current dog with such genuine love. She always takes her time, listens, and treats them like they’re her own. The entire staff reflects that same energy. You can feel how much they truly care about every animal who walks through their doors. We couldn’t ask for a better team to care for our pets.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Community Animal Care and Dr. Pelesz and her team. From the moment we walk in, we are greeted by name and our pets are acknowledged by name too, which truly makes us feel like part of the family. The care and attention they provide to our furry friends is top-notch, and we couldn't be happier with the service we receive. Dr. Pelesz and her team go above and beyond to ensure the health and well-being of our pets, and we are so grateful for their dedication. Dr. Pelesz and all of the staff at Community Animal Care have been caring for our fur babies for over a decade. They are simply the BEST! We recently adopted a new puppy and have had many visits, including surgery to have him neutered. The level of care given to our little guy was above and beyond and so appreciated! They truly care for your animals in a way that feels more like family caring for our loved ones. We will forever be grateful XXOO

I brought my very sick dog to Community and chose to wait in the car. Staff came to get me and brought me to Dr Pelez. I found her holding and rocking my dog with such tenderness and kindness I felt I should be consoling her. She advises with such knowledge, concern and common sense always looking at the whole picture. In a perfect world cost wouldn’t be an issue but I feel they understand and do their best to provide excellent but reasonable care. I cannot recommend them enough. They’re all wonderful.

Words cannot fully express how grateful I am to Dr. Pelesz and her entire team at Community Animal Hospital. Recently, my one-year-old German Shepherd was unknowingly exposed to a poisonous substance on a Sunday evening. By early Monday morning, he began showing concerning symptoms, and my regular veterinarian turned me away and advised me to seek emergency care. Fortunately, I was only a few blocks away from Community Animal Hospital, and despite being a first-time client, they took my dog in immediately and began treatment without hesitation. After consulting with poison control, we were told that the odds were not in his favor. However, Dr. Pelesz remained both hopeful and confident that he would recover with minimal long-term effects. Her expertise, compassion, and reassurance during such a stressful time meant more than I can put into words. I am incredibly grateful to say that my dog has made a full recovery, and I truly believe that is thanks to the exceptional care he received at Community Animal Hospital.

Fantastic visit. The professionalism of both Dr's and Tech's was a blessing. Dr Redden and Dr Pelesz were thorough and both carefully explained the care my dog would receive. The techs were gentle and loving towards my fur baby. Friendly receptionists. Highly recommended. Thank you again.

Community Animal Care truly goes above and beyond. The staff is compassionate, patient, and genuinely cares about both pets and their owners. During an incredibly emotional time, they treated us with kindness, respect, and understanding. You can tell they love what they do, and that makes all the difference. I’m so grateful for the care and compassion they showed our beloved pet Smokey. 🌈 🐾 Highly recommend to anyone looking for a veterinary team that truly cares.

Dr Pelez is absolutely fantastic. I adopted a two year-old boxer a year ago and had some issues that Dr. Pelez helped point me in the right direction with. She is hands down the best & cares so much. I highly recommend her!
